Caroline ThomasCaroline went to Amaudo in March, where she will live for two months before starting a Psychology degree at University in September. She is working with Martha, Very Rev Timothy’s PA, and her role is to gather and collate information, stories and pictures for reports, newsletters and feedback to funders. Alongside this she is spending time with each project, helping out with the residents and teaching art and life skills in the school for wonderful children.

Caroline has been writing a diary which she has put on to a blog, recording her experiences.* Through her account you can read not only about her day to day life but also about the cultural adjustments she has made regarding differences in the perception and treatment of mentally ill people in Nigeria, compared with the UK. Some things are the same and some are very different!
